About Pocomoke High School
Pocomoke High School is more than just a school in southern Worcester County, it’s a place where athletics are woven into the community’s identity. Generations of Warriors have taken the field, court, track, and diamond carrying the pride of Pocomoke City with them. On Friday nights at Warrior Field, packed gyms during basketball season, and deep postseason runs across multiple sports, the support behind Pocomoke athletics is impossible to miss. The school has built a reputation for producing tough, disciplined teams that embrace hard work and compete with confidence against some of the Eastern Shore’s best.
That competitive tradition continues today as Pocomoke student-athletes chase championships while representing their school and community with pride. Warrior teams have enjoyed success in basketball, field hockey, soccer, baseball, and track and field, regularly finding themselves in the conversation when regional titles are on the line. Whether it’s a veteran leader delivering in a big moment or a young athlete making a name for themselves, Pocomoke sports are fueled by a culture that values effort, resilience, and teamwork. For the Warriors, winning matters, but so does the responsibility of wearing the black and orange and continuing a legacy built by those who came before them.
