CRISFIELD — Mardela put together a relentless offensive performance Thursday night, overwhelming Crisfield 12-0 in a game that was decided almost from the opening whistle.
The Warriors wasted little time getting on the scoreboard, striking just 3 minutes, 30 seconds into the match. A second goal followed moments later, and Mardela continued its first-half assault with goals in the 8th, 10th, 11th, 12th, 16th and 20th minutes as the hosts seized complete control.
Bella Campbell paced the attack with a hat trick and three assists, helping fuel one of Mardela’s most explosive offensive efforts of the season. Aubryn Glushakow added two goals and an assist.
Kate Quade and Jordan Reynolds each contributed a goal and an assist, while Jillian Roberts, Maya Curry, Grace Premo, Addy Evans and Ximena Delgado also scored for the Warriors.
Zoe Medianick chipped in with an assist as Mardela showcased its offensive depth throughout the evening.
Defensively, the Warriors were equally impressive. Delgado and Ella Twilley split time in goal and combined to record the shutout as Mardela controlled possession and limited Crisfield’s opportunities from start to finish.
It was all Mardela all night as the Warriors dominated in every phase on their way to the 12-goal victory.
